Good Neighbor Day Support is a place for art, gardening, exercise, sensory, community engagement, and many other activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Get to know the space:
The art room on any given day is like a beautifully curated gallery of drawings, paintings, crafts, and other art pieces.
A room with iPads, movies, and a large projector screen - perfect for entertainment, relaxation, and fun.
Tomatoes, squash, peppers, and other seasonal vegetables are in the Day Support garden - a wonderful way to learn and grow with others planting and harvesting together.
Designed by Occupational Therapist, Wendy Atkinson, the sensory room considers the sensory thresholds of each individual, providing a calm and relaxing environment.
Treadmills, balance balls, mats, and other exercise equipment to stay healthy and active.
